Members of the Group suggest and volunteer to lead walks and information is circulated to members in advance by email.

Walks are usually 3 to 6 miles long with longer picnic walks sometimes being arranged in the summer months.  Walk difficulty varies from easy to moderate and is advised by the walk leader(s) in advance.

All walks are weather dependent and rarely more than an hour’s drive from Ponteland with the aim of car sharing wherever possible.
